Microsoft Web Apps: OneNote App for iPhone and iPad: Getting Started, Part 2

Did you see my last post about how to create your Microsoft Live account so you could get started with OneNote notebooks? If you missed it, I recommend checking out that post by clicking here: Microsoft Web Apps: OneNote App for iPhone and iPad: Getting Started, Part 1

Once you have created your account, go to the Microsoft Web Apps website, http://office.live.com, log in with your new account information, and you will see a screen that looks like this. Choose “Create, and “OneNote notebook” to create your first notebook.

Give your notebook a name…

And when your notebook opens, your screen will look like this:

Decide what you’d like to call your sections,

And create as many new sections as you’d like…

One of my favorite features of using the OneNote Web App is that you can change the section colors and those colors will also be reflected on your mobile device. Change your section colors by doing the following…

You can delete sections and pages too…

And that’s all there is to it to creating your first notebook!
